Brain Trauma are a hardcore hip hop group from Charleston WV. Brain Trauma were founded on Halloween night of 2003 when Kasket Kyle (at the time going by the name relliK laireS) asked Toxik Flow to be his hype man for his first solo performance. The show was held at the now closed all ages venue "Cliffhangers" in South Charleston WV. Promptly upon finishing there set, Brain Trauma, along with every other rap artist on the planet, was banned from the venue. Shortly after, they started playing bar shows, starting with Marley's Doghouse in Huntington WV.

Within the next year, they recorded and released there first CD, The Flatline EP. The album featured collaboration tracks with N8, Castro The Savage, Diagnosis, Burna, and Bryan King. Within the next year Brain Trauma had performed in 100+ shows, and recorded there follow up album "The Budd Dwyer Effect". The album included collaboration tracks with Fury, ClaAs, Mars, Burna, and D.O.Ceasar.

In 2008, Brain Trauma released there 3rd album "The Army Of Trauma Victimz" for 100% free download. Within the first two months of it being available online it was downloaded over 2,000 times. The album featured no guest tracks and was mainly produced by The Green Blob. After the release of the album, Brain Trauma caught the attention of record label LongRange Distribution. They promptly signed a two album deal and began work on the album. After several months and several scrapped songs, they completed the album "Brainwashed". The album featured collaboration tracks with V Sinizter, Paycheck Game, and Mars. The album also included guest production from Stir Crazy, Kazual, Marcus D Tray, and Ti6er. They released the album in May of 2009.

After the release of Brainwashed, Brain Trauma and LongRange Distribution parted ways. They are currently ready to release the solo debut of Toxik Flow with his album Toxikology, and are working on the still untitled 5th album, as well as the first Kasket Kyle solo album since 2002. All of these releases are tenativly schedualed to be released in 2010.
